Periods.

We are currently sitting on the couch, trying to accomplish homework.
I'm being cranky and said, "Benj, I just feel like I'm on the verge of tears."
He said, "Oh. Are you going to have a period?"
I said, "Probably."
He said, "Oh. Has it started yet?"
Me, "No."
Him, "do you want it to?"

Somehow, I still find him absolutely darling and perfect.
